Alternate Timeline

Using Steven Gibbs HDR, astral time travel to an alternate timeline.

Early 2006 - There is a gigantic flash of light in the night. Something bad happens in a big city. Massive looting takes place and huge buildings are burning out of control.The sounds of rescue sirens fill the air; policecars patrol continuously with strobing red lights creating kaleidoscopic chaos.

President Gore goes on TV and says "I see what happened here today as a wake-up call of major proportions, we fell asleep after Pearl Harbor, but never again!" He went on to call it - the worst disaster in US history.

The power grid was also struck and millions went without power. Darkened motorways were jammed with traffic as people begain fleeing the cities.It appears that several plants of atomic energy were in hardship due to a drop in the pressure of the water; serious fires burned in the urban centers.

A cascading blackout blanketed the entire eastern seaboard, as it gathered momentum it began disrupting all transportation and telecommunication networks. In NYC 250 miles of subway tunnels went black. A possible 500,000 riders were trapped inside. Passengers creep along black as tar train tracks and climbed up escape ladders four floors high.
