People in the future use new words and phrases to express themselves. Some are familiar, some are not.

2007 slang
Yo hommie, wazzup dawg!
U down wid dat?

2047 slang
I throw ya three ouncers if U can find the part.
Ok, a topper, seven ouncers if U can dig it up.
Dog, this ain't no junkyard, it's a treasure trove!


Spare parts are hard to find after the war. An ouncer is a one ounce gold coin. You literally have to dig up parts. People sift thru huge rubbish heaps looking for them. In one jump to the future I saw myself putting together stuff from scrap.
