Sadly, a chapter is passing in our long saga. Disappearing pay phones mean that many have trouble calling loved ones. Still, there are fond memories of the old quarter gobbling pay phone. I remember calling my girl friend on a pay phone years ago. There was always a time when you wanted to use a public telephone to make a quick call. Well, now those days are but a distant mist of memory. There are few of those colorful classics still around.
