green technology in woe

There is a critical component of being green. Neodynium shortage of rare earth metals threatens production of hybrid cars. Folks we depend on neo. It is use in wind turbine generators, electromagnets for computer hard drives, and electric motors for hybrid cars. Well, guess the dream of reducing pollution is gone. Like all rare earth metals, neo is rare. My suggestion is that we use Barium Oxide Bar Magnets to replace neo. China has limited export of neodynium to america. US had neodynium production in California, but it was shut down by environmentalists in one supreme irony.
