hoax phoneboxes

Folks in scotland have some hoax phoneboxes that they are seeing. Perhaps the legendary Doctor Who is involved some way. It is a bit funny, I must say. Still, why the prank and for what reason. Scotland yard needs to get to the bottom of this I am sure.
