HDR-like time machine on Napoleon Dynamite

I just want to say that the movie Napoleon Dynamite is out on DVD and there is a time machine in the movie quite similar to Steven Gibbs Hyper Dimensional Resonator. In fact, this device is silver whereas the Hyper Dimensional Resonator is black.

Still quite a coincidence, would you not say?
